Community Supports are alternative services or settings that are provided in lieu of services covered voluntarily by Medi-Cal managed care plans (MCPs) under the Medicaid State Plan and designed to provide a range of services and resources to address the unique needs of Medi-Cal members in the community, with a focus on promoting health, stability, and independence.
