Lost mucus plug after sweep

I had a sweep 2 days ago and was 1cm, almost 2-3cm. I started losing my mucus plug later that day. I'm still just crampy in and off like I have been for almost two weeks, nothing else. Labour is near mama. Regardless of what you are feeling it's coming!! I lost my plug after my 38 week sweep.

I'm 40+2 and had a sweep at 9:30am. So far just some mild cramping and a little nausea. I was only 1cm and 30% so maybe my body just isn't ready. But I haven't had any kind of bloody show and it's 1pm. Did anyone else have things happen much later after their sweep?My wildly intense birth story. Anonymous. 05/04/2012 at 3:37 pm. You can loose your mucus plug up to 2 weeks before labour starts. It's different for everyone. I lost mine with ds but still had to be induced, some people loose it during labour, right before labour, or weeks/days before labour. Unfortunately there isn't really much telling how far away labour is.
