Breath of the wild steam deck yuzu

Breath of the wild in yuzu is great and completely playable (by my standards) Always over 20 fps, and mostly on 30 is enough for me, I can turn off the fps counter and bam! Have been playing like this for 9h+, having a great time. This really gives me hope of playing the upcoming "tears of the kingdom" release in the deck.

Yuzu only achieves 25-30 spiking in BotW in steam deck from what I've seen. The community, and developers also haven't focused on BotW because Cemu is basically made around BotWs existence. Was gonna recommend you dump it from Wii U instead since it'll probably have 40 fps based on videos I have seen, and mod support.

Once you typed Y to confirm and the install is done and ran the second command, close Konsole and open up Visual Studio Code, which should now have appeared in your Start Menu. In Visual Studio Code, access "Terminal > New Terminal" on the top bar, a Terminal should appear. Enter the terminal and type python -m ensurepip, python -m pip install ...The main problem is not Steam Deck's lack of power. The Switch is specifically constructed. The very details in the Firmware, OS etc the Switch use, are closed source. So, it is very hard to make a perfect emulator. So, even with the best Computer Hadrware, there are possibilities, that some Switch games will lag.Set the gpu to 900mhz (not powertools, just in the normal settings) Cryoutilities 2.0 also helps in my opinion. Made botw playable at mostly 30 fps for me. Sometimes mods help, e.g.: 60fps patch for link's awakening. Basically everything I mentiones helps a little bit - a lot with all of it together.Still, Yuzu is able to run Breath of the Wild at its native 30 fps on reasonable hardware: the emulator devs recommend a 10th gen Intel Core i5 or Ryzen 5 3600 and a GTX 1650 or Radeon RX 6500 ...Steam Link is a separate app that can be run on steam deck, android phones, certain TVs, or as an OS on raspberri pi or Steam Link (the hardware device of the same name). If you install it from Discover, and add it to steam, you can indeed launch it from there and stream your desktop PC. Breath of the Wild currently works pretty damn well on the Steam Deck through CEMU with the FPS++ enabled (40fps). The only issue is it's an absolute battery killer. BEST ToTK Performance to date | ...CEMU is the way to go if you want to play Breath of the Wild on your PC or Steam Deck, don't get me wrong, Yuzu and Ryujinx are great emulators, but CEMU has years of optimization, nowadays you don't even need a good PC to run perfectly and still support online games like Mario Kart.My quick take: yes CEMU is more mature but it also happens to just run better on the deck compared to YUZU. Maybe YUZU developments will close the gap but who knows. On the graphics piece - there’s not a ton of power left after running BOTW on any of the emulators to make it look THAT much different on steam deck compared to the switch.Step 1: Enter Desktop Mode. Begin by booting into Desktop Mode on the Steam Deck. To do this, hold down the power button until a menu appears then hit Switch to Desktop. After a few seconds, the Steam Deck will reboot and we’ll be one step closer to installing Zelda: Breath of the Wild mods on Steam Deck.

If you go to -->Emulator - Configure - Controls menu, located under the controller click bellow where it says "motion1"; it will change into "shake!" rectangle-shaped button with a blue background; then *Left-click* and move the mouse (and/or the touchpad) until the button says "mouse". (just in case somebody still needed an answer) 2.Use power tools and turn off SMT if using Yuzu, and set GPU to normal (this breaks some graphics in cities). Ryujinx - no settings will make it better. It's the game that runs poorly. Wait for a Nintendo patch for it to run on Deck. Stream it from a more powerful PC. Breath of the wild running flawlessly on a 1050 ti. (Using yuzu early access 2147) For BOTW to be playable go to the settings of the game and set GPU Accuracy to high, cpu to unsafe and also using Vulkan and async. 1 - Join the Beta OS release. this will give you access to the 40hz refresh rate option. limit fps to 40 and set refresh rate to 40hz. 2 - Play the WiiU Version of BOTW. the WiiU version of BOTW performs far better on deck than the switch version, and mods are easier to use. 3 - Don't download CEMU separately if you use EmuDeck. Pokemon Legends Arceus works at solid 30fps with Vulkan. Switch to OpelGL it's in the 10-12fps range with many dips to 1-2 FPS whenever new shaders come up (Vulkan only dips to 10-15fps at these points). You are vastly overestimating the power of the deck, you're comparing a low power APU to a 2070 which is a very powerful dedicated GPU. Capping to 30fps is the way to do it, but you should be very impressed a stable 30fps is possible considering you're emulating it. Not really. Play in gaming mode, set to 40hz refresh uncapped fps. Steady and smooth 40fps in the wild, some towns and forests it may drop to 35. Either way extremely smooth and stable gameplay. According to some people on the emulation subs, shader cache is outdated and async should be all you need.Yuzu is also harder to use than Cemu, with the latter working off just the game files whereas some titlekey shenanigans is required with Yuzu. Hacking a WiiU to dump your games is easy, whereas hacking a switch requires either a very specific model or soldering a modchip whose production led to a massive and successful lawsuit.Gyros are possible using Cemu on Deck.
